Isabella’s Architect

Product Information

The building that houses Isabella’s Kitchen was designed by Douglas Fredrikson Architects – the same folks who have been creating jaw-dropping structures across the Southwest for decades including the clubhouses at Grayhawk Golf Club, Arizona Country Club, We Ko Pa Golf Club, Ritz Carlton at Dove Mountain and dozens of others. The end result is an Italian country bistro with an edge that incorporates wood floors and millwork with rusted steel detailing. It’s a simple design with an artisan’s fresh and colorful touch. Garage-style doors as well as other large wall-sized sliding doors provide seamless transitions to outdoor terraces and courtyards featuring fire pits and a grassy backyard picnic area. A stately fireplace warms the covered exterior lounge and the signature Saguaro Patio, named for 100-year-old cactus poking its arms through overhead trellis. A beautiful juniper-topped community table adorns the inside/outside Blue Bar. To capitalize on the spectacular views of the golf course and city lights below, Fredrikson updated the old Baffin Spoon halfway house with a rooftop terrace featuring a 360-degree vantage point – a great place to enjoy a glass of wine with friends.
